Zte Blade (1st gen) fails to connect to the internet

Hello there all you pro Zte users :)

i've come a accross a problem whilst on my Zte Blade. here is what happend...

i was on youtube watching a video and suddenly my Wifi disconnects. now at this point i thought i could just restart the Wifi but i was wrong, the internet will not connect to the internet unless i use mobile data. when i go to my settings and try connect my wifi i come accross this sequence;

Connecting>authenticating the chosen connection> DIsconnected

it does this sequence every 5 seconds, i realy would like a fix for this. i have tried a factory reset but sadly no luck

additional information

i am using cyanogen mod 7

the Wifi was working perfectly up until a couple of hours ago.

last of all my battery had depleted when this happend < this might be a factor

please HELP me!

Have you tried connecting to a different wifi rooter with the same results.

If not try turning off and restarting you're rooter and see if that helps.

i have already restarted my router :s

and no i have not tried another network but i think i shall ask my neighbours.

My phone did connect to the wifi earlier today, but it just stopped working all of a sudden.

do you think as a last resort i should switch to cm9?

It might be just as good to re flash cm7 first and see if that sorts it.
