Mobile data issues

Hi everyone! I use Huawei Ascend G300 on Vodafone Romania mobile network. After updating to B934 Stock ROM, every time I enable mobile data switching, my phone takes a long time to connect(compared to GB). The H or 3G sign appears there near the signal indicator, but only after a while(1min. or so) the signal bars turn themselves blue and I am able to do something. And after that, it is switching between HSPA, UMTS very often, and I sometimes am unable to load a web page, even though I have 3 out of 4 bars, or even full bars. And another noob question: Will I be able to install the OTA ICS update(if it would be one :angry: ) even though I use stock b934 and rooted?
