Hello,

Does anyone have a brief summary of changes from B934?

Does it resolve the ringtone issue?

Thanks!

Can no one summarise some of the changes they've found?

I'm surprised.

I've had a browse through the threads, but can't see much.

I know that, but what changes have been seen by installing this?

My phone isn't rooted, and I don't have CWM so there's no simple way for me to change between ROMs.

There is literally an entire thread about the update. I imagine someone has mentioned something about it in there.

Basically, It's very hard to tell.

B934 worked pretty well, some people have reported better speed on B936 but that may just be the effect of full wipe etc.

One thing some people have noticed is lower ringtone volume.

Thanks for that.

I've seen the references to speed, always a good thing.

I'd like the ringtone issue to be fixed, but that's probably wishful thinking.

you could try a volume app / eq app from playstore. i haven't tried myself but it's worth trying

I think HuaweiAscend might be referring to a different ringtone issue, maybe the one with ringtones not sticking, I'm not sure. I'd test it but I'm back on Infusion. Either way the ringtone not sticking issues isn't really that much of an issue, just root the phone and chuck the ringtones in /system/media/audio/ringtones/

yep i went back to b934 over b926. The ringer volume with 936 is definitely lower.

As for speed that negligible

It's much faster, thats what i noticed. On GB and other ICS roms i couldn't use live wallpapers (huge lag).On 936 it works really smooth, and thats just one example.

I've found the opposite.

The refresh time for the wallpaper when leaving an app is much slower than B934, and the Bluetooth reboots are back!
