Guest Ascend Posted September 12, 2012 Report Posted September 12, 2012 Can anyone recommend a good screen protector? I always have great difficulty applying them without bubbles underneath. Thanks
Guest JethroUK Posted September 12, 2012 Report Posted September 12, 2012 Gorilla Glass - what you want screen protector for? - I hate them
Guest John Young Photos Posted September 12, 2012 Report Posted September 12, 2012 I had the same dilema I knew the phone had Gorilla glass but I also heard of some people getting fine scratches on their phone screen (they couold have been talking crap) I also heard of someone that a screen protector made the screen less sensative Eventually I bought THESE OFF EBAY they were cheap (£2.34) so worth a go and if they are crap I can throw them They turned out to be very good, go on easy and the phone still works great

I didn't think I needed a screen protector with the gorilla glass, didn't for my previous phones, but it's very unobtrusive, and thin in layer thickness, so that you don't even notice it, and the touch responsiveness doesn't seem to be hindered at all. Would recommend trying it out.
Guest Ascend Posted September 12, 2012 Report Posted September 12, 2012 Ebay listing has finished unfortunately. Thanks for replies.
Guest John Young Photos Posted September 12, 2012 Report Posted September 12, 2012 Just keep an eye out or contact the ebay seller they might be putting more up again
Guest kippertoffee Posted September 12, 2012 Report Posted September 12, 2012 My screen scratched after about 6 hours, not sure what it was but it certainly wasn't anything drastic. I think i left it face down on a table, so it could have had something hard underneath it, but I thought this shouldn;t affect Gorilla Glass? Either way, it did and apparently quite easily so I got some protectors. Just a cheapy off ebay and it works like a charm, although I wasted one in fitting it.
Guest wso277 Posted September 12, 2012 Report Posted September 12, 2012 i got some matte screen protectors and they are very good. Screen responsive and smooth. They are a bit thigh and are a bit up on the left side, but it doesnt get to the screen.
Guest Russ_uk Posted September 12, 2012 Report Posted September 12, 2012 I've got these and the work like a charm: Anti-Glare 6 front screen protectors for Huawei Ascend G300
Guest ETDJ Posted September 13, 2012 Report Posted September 13, 2012 (edited) Try these links for methods of application for perfect alignment and dealing with bubbles: Hinge method for applying.. (use low adhesive tape like painters masking tape if you can) Make sure it's clean before.. [media=] And if you get dust bubbles trapped underneath lift it up and use the tape to dab the screen and/or protector - it lifts dust off the surfaces for a perfect finish. Don't use your nail to lift the protector though, it damages the edges. Instead use the tape to lift the edge. Edited September 13, 2012 by ETDJ
