CURRENT VERSION PA BLADE 2.81

This is not just tablet mode

To be honest, this is not tablet mode at all, it has nothing to do with silly build.prop hacks.

This is the first and only Android rom to feature true Hybrid mode.

This rom lets you scale and project every app, every widget, even systemcomponents individually.

Remember, android is modular, everything is an app: Lockscreen, navigationbar, dialogs, popups, keyboards, widgets, and your regular apps of course.

Apps have the capability to switch into various designs or layouts according to the device they run on.

This can result in a complete new experience as many apps will transform to the better.

Now for every element that you like chose a mode (PhoneUI, Phablet, TabletUI) and/or a size.

You are 100% independent of the system DPI which runs nicely in whatever value it has been assigned to.

You do not need to boot your phone into a certain DPI. Neither will most of the changes you apply require a reboot.

You will not suffer from the myriads of troubles which normally haunt you under build.prop tablet mode.

Your market, phone, etc. will all work, apps won't shrink on you unless you shrink them yourself.

This project will entirely transform your device, but retain the aesthetics and the feel of your phone.

Based on CM10 4.1.2 JellyBean

MINIMUM Partition: 160MB

Use at your own risk, I'm not responsible for any data loss,etc etc, always TAKE A FULL BACKUP before trying out a new ROM!! As stated above, this is an experimental build.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:

Download ROM, GAPPS on your SDCARD

Boot into Recovery, Clockwork.

Optionally, but HIGHLY RECOMMENDED: BACKUP YOUR CURRENT ROM

Wipe Data/Factory Reset (Mandatory if you're coming from any other ROM!)

Wipe Cache

Mounts/Storage > Format System (Mandatory if you're coming from any other ROM!)

Advanced > Wipe Dalvik Cache

Install from zip > Select downloaded ROM

Install from zip > Select download GAPPS

Reboot (might take a while,pls be patient!)

If you're coming from the initial release, then it's recommended that you take a backup of your PA Settings,

Download latest version, install ZIP from SDCARD

Install GAPPS from SDCARD

Wipe Dalvik Cache

Reboot

Yeah but 2 builds aren't necessary. The ony different is that my ROM has goo manager in it, here it doesn't work.

Furthermore, if he would have used the forum search, he would know that there is already a dev working at PA JB..

XMasterNinni, at first I thought it was unethical to post a new thread, infact I have consulted before posting - you are right goo manager does not work on mine for the simple reason that first I have to get an approval - an approval which is only granted if the ROM is posted onto a recognized forum - you should know this. In other words, if I get approval then I would be able to get goo manager working as well. The way I see it, users can feel free to try out any rom they like, so you don't need to take this personally and by no means I'm trying to compete or anything, I simply shared my compiled rom of a new pa version which so far wasn't available for our blade.

whats the point in ivesting time in ics now

imo jb roms have reached ics level stability and includes jb goodies as well

PS: XMasterNinni rom is trimmed:

I was able to squeeze the rom into 140 MB by only deleting stuff from it and the gapps package (and I have a stripped version of LatinIME compiled with only Hungarian dictionary). But by default it's BIG with all the apps, media stuff and stuff.

EDIT: please upload to another site. we cant download rom and gapps. traffic limit's reached. :X

why not 170m?

170m is a bit tight, rom might fit, but don't forget you also need to flash gapps, so you might need more than that.

Not as fast as Burstlams...there is a slight lag in animations

Calc,music player,live walls missing....nothing ground breaking

just wish it was a bit faster...

camera has lots of artifacts too

and panaroma isnt as good as in burstlams build

damn this burstlam guy...doesnt share his sources

I think you don't have a clue what compiling really means. This isn't based on anything. It's COMPILED. Paranoid Android uses CM sources, so this is the same like CM10. If there is a Camera, which has lots of artifacts, it's PA's fault.
