ICS Homepage Refresh Speed

I've been running B934 for a long time, with no issues.

Returning to home was instant, other than when leaving the browser when it took a few seconds for the home screen to populate.

I swapped to B936, then back to B934 (clean installs via volume button method) and now I'm getting a couple of seconds lag when leaving messages or another app, and returning to the home screen.

I only have one home screen, with the Huawei Weather Widget and 8 shortcuts.

Any ideas?

The phone only has 512MB, so the phone has free some RAM for the launcher if you did something intensive.

I didn't have this issue prior to reloading B934, that's the weird thing.

when im restoreing any backup i always do the seven wipes and get no lag at all.was on b936 ,then b934, then used the ics b926 rom not the dload one ,and it s fine ,my launcher never gives any lag or laggyness.

I don't have CWM or rooted, so I shouldn't have any lag... or so I'd have thought?

no you shouldnt have any lagg.cant understand why.anyway the b926 rom i have has root already on it .it comes with root installed..

Can you spell out the "seven wipes"? Are they like the seven dwarfs? :b

yes just like the seven dewarfs but better?

make shure you have a working backup before trying this

1.wipe factory

2.wipe cache

go to mounts and storage .

3.format cache

4.format data

5.format system

go back to advanced

6.wipe dalvik ,

7.wipe battery stats .

restore backup.

reboot.

I had to remove various screens and widgets to fix this on B936.

I've removed all the excess screens and only have one widget, just like it's always been.
