Stuck on bootloader

Hi updated to ICS but found it was chinese version that left me unable to use 'Play' app. Secondary issue daily update invites in chinese.

Have tried rooting ICS re Install a custom Jelly Bean / ICS ROM from scratch and after several failed attempts rooting started but phone froze. Reboot as suggested but phone starts in bootloader. If I boot while pressing volume up & down it boots into pink screen
