Can someone help me with this please? I need to downgrade to stock so I can unlock, i've been tearing my hair out all day trying to do this with no success...

As far as i understand I need a stock ROM that works with CWM, i've tried a couple and they always abort with an error of some sort.

I tried going thru these steps too

  • BOOT INTO CLOCKWORKMOD RECOVERY
  • SELECT WIPE DATA / FACTORY RESTET
  • SELECT WIPE CACHE PARTITION
  • SELECT MOUNTS AND STORAGE
  • SELECT FORMATE / SYSTEM
  • GO BACK TO THE MAIN MENU
  • SELECT INSTALL .ZIP FROM SDCARD
  • FIND AND SELECT THE ROM
  • WAIT FOR THE ROM TO INSTALL
  • BACK TO MAIN MENU AND REBOOT

again no luck except afterwards phone would not boot up, had to take out SD card, delete stock zip and put latest infusion zip on then apply update with CWM which worked fine...

Did you download the CWM zip from or the full update.app file? What was the name of the file you tried to install?

Did you have any error messages when trying to install stock?

The full update file V100R001C203B940.zip, should it be the other one?

Ok :) so do i need to do a factory wipe/partition wipe or anything or just install from CWM ?

Id be inclined to wipe everything first but I suppose it can't hurt to just install. If you run into issues then just go back, wipe and reinstall I guess.

Ok I think Infusion is unrooted by default, do i need to root it ? also should USB debugging be ticked ?
