Guest PaulOBrien Posted September 19, 2012 Report Posted September 19, 2012 The Huawei G300, a very well regarded bargain basement device, is now available in store at Tesco for only £60 or even as low as £45 with a £30 grocery spend! The G300, detailed here on the Vodafone website features Android 2.3 Gingerbread out of the box but an official Ice Cream Sandwich update is now available. Hardware features include a 1GHz MSM7227A single core processor (don't let that put you off!), a 4" WVGA screen, 2.5 GB internal memory, microSD expansion, 5 Megapixel camera, FM radio, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS etc. in a well made and attractive frame that tips the scales at 130g. The device can also be unlocked for ~£5 on eBay. At £100 it was a steal, at £60 (or even better £45) it's frankly quite outrageous. The deal is available in store only and is guaranteed to sell out very quickly! If you have a G300 (or are getting one), check out our busy dedicated forum. Guest gitf@ce Posted September 19, 2012 Report Posted September 19, 2012 My local Tesco in Bury St Edmunds had a sticker where the G300 was stating it had been discontinued 11/09/12.
