How many contacts can the SPV store?

I have about 1500 contacts on my outlook, before starting syncing with my brand new SPV I would like to know if the SPV could store that amount of contacts...

Any help appreciated.

As many as the IPSM has space to store...(same as SMS/Email messages)

I think it depends on how much information you have in one contact.

carphone warehouse says 1000, while the p800 can store 12mb worth.

I'm so glad they know what they're talking about...

And who the hell has 1500 contacts? Jeez, i was only hoping to go the Meet to pretend i know people!

Just sinced my lawer's spv with a bit more than 2.000 outlook contacts and no problem.

Done in less than 10 minutes

And they took about 2mb of spv memory.

So pretty much 1k per contact...not too bad. 2000 contacts though...

...thought I was bad with 156, 100 of them are ones I'll prob never use, or past one nighters!!! :wink:

Not sure if its the same with you guys, but don't you think it's a bitty crap how you can only get 90 on the orange sim. I was on vodafone before this and was a bit appalled (spelt right?!) when they converted my old sim contacts over to the new sim. Losing about 20 contacts. :lol:

should the ipsm run out of space though i think noone has that many contacts, is it possible for them to be stored on sd card?
