no signal

upgraded to ics,problem when i phone someone the screen goes black and i have to pull battery,very annoying,tried to downgrade and followed all the instructions ,all ok apart from no signal from voda and no apns,imei number is zero but sometimes it backs up to a imei number thats not mine,anyone any idea how to get my original one back.i backed it up on pc but when i paste it on sd card,toolbox 5irom says no backup,going crazy with these probs,if it wasnt for screen going off i would keep ics,any one any idea to fix any of these probs,thanks in advance
