Guest kyan31 Posted September 25, 2012 Report Posted September 25, 2012 (edited) I installed it, but realized that wifi and wifi tethering no longer work, and cause the phone to freeze. This requires a battery pull. I just want to remove it for good now, so if you can guide me, it would help a lot! <img src='http://www.modaco.com/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':D' /> Edited September 25, 2012 by kyan31
Guest Asghar_UK Posted September 25, 2012 Report Posted September 25, 2012 Did you make a backup with ClockwordMod before you installed the kernel? If so then just restore the boot.img from the backup.

Guest androrphin Posted September 25, 2012 Report Posted September 25, 2012 I had the same problem. I solved it by installing geno kolar's kernel .

Guest kyan31 Posted September 25, 2012 Report Posted September 25, 2012 I had the same problem. I solved it by installing geno kolar's kernel . Wait so can I just install it over omegamoons? So I don't have to wipe my phone?
Guest b4da55 Posted September 25, 2012 Report Posted September 25, 2012 Wait so can I just install it over omegamoons? So I don't have to wipe my phone? I wouldn't, format boot in cwm than flash
Guest kyan31 Posted September 25, 2012 Report Posted September 25, 2012 I wouldn't, format boot in cwm than flash Oh OK, hanks for all the help guys :D
Guest Dazzozo Posted September 25, 2012 Report Posted September 25, 2012 You can freely flash boot images, providing they're for the same base ROM. Boot images contain the kernel and ramdisk and require no wiping.
Guest Potatoes Posted September 26, 2012 Report Posted September 26, 2012 You can get the default kernel by opening up the infusion zip in 7zip, copy out the boot.ini, then replace the boot.ini in the omegamoon zip. Just make sure you don't unzip the omegamoon zip first, do the replacing in 7zip directly.
