Guest BlueMoonRising Posted September 26, 2012 Report Posted September 26, 2012 I'm a bit puzzled by Quadrant scores. I tried it after clearing all caches and history and cleaning the memory as much as possible. I gave it 5 minutes to let anything that needed to start to settle down and then ran it 5 times. 1st - 3856 2nd - 4280 3rd - Network Connection Error ? 4th - 3663 5th - 4034 The 2nd higher score I put down to maybe caching, the 3rd I left it a while before giving permission to connect to the internet. Is this typical for Quadrant(standard free edition) or does it not like Medfield?
Guest Posted September 26, 2012 Report Posted September 26, 2012 You will get a more accurate result using antutu: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.antutu.ABenchMark&feature=nav_result#?t=W251bGwsMSwxLDMsImNvbS5hbnR1dHUuQUJlbmNoTWFyayJd Note: more accurate! No benchmark application can really give an exact result as you can see by running several tests.....the results are always different. But as benchmarking apps go, antutu is as close to accurate as you are going to get.

If you are using a device with a SD card it would be wise to run custom test without sdcard as there's different cards
Guest BlueMoonRising Posted September 26, 2012 Report Posted September 26, 2012 Does your choice of launcher affect the Quadrant scores? I'm trying EZ Launcher at the moment which is actually still in beta, 0.5.0.
