File loss/ video playback

Hi, hope someone can help.

I have San Fran running Cyanogenmod 7. I had a 16 gig card in it and everything was ok. Then one morning I got up, switched the phone on and the memory card was said to be corrupted. I managed to recover some photos etc and put them back on a 32 gig card. Since the incident with the card my phone won`t always play videos. I`ve tried different formats of video but most of the time the phone won`t play them. I connect the phone to the computer, download the files to the memory card, disconnect properly, wait a while, sometimes they will play straight away, sometimes not, but when I turn the phone off and back on the files dissapear off the card. These can be either be videos, music or pictures.

I reinstalled Cyanogenmod 7-11152011-nightly-Blade to see if this might cure the problem but its no different.

It plays videos, pictures etc that I have taken with the camera and these appear at all times.

Also when I end a call, the screen goes black for about a minute or two and no matter what button i press, nothing brings the screen back on.
