with the wait for cm, im just wondering if anyone can point me towards a guide or a simple way of themeing the status bar and changing text colours etc.

surely the icons are just images that can be replaced? and text colours just values like #FFFFF (white) etc..

Try MIUI 2.9.28 if you like MIUI , it's much snappier than first versions (+bonus overclocking). Very good for everyday use and beautiful themes.

I found it good at first but once my apps we on it it was slow and pretty much unusable

I dont want to try another rom, I want to edit my current by changing the status bar etc. I have seen various ones on deviantart and mycolor etc. In romtoolbox you can change some bits not everything. There is themes by frankish for the blade so must be possible

CM has the theme engine, some launchers have support for different icon packs and themes, other than that you're looking at hacking apps and the framework.

Rom Toolbox Pro has a theme manager. It's fairly basic in functionality though so I don't know if it will do what you want. I never really bothered with it myself.

its for cm themes, as i alrdy said it lets your replace status bar icons and cm stuff along with animations

Theming Is fairy easy, when I get some spair time I will try find some of my old guides for you

In the meantime download and install GIMP (Google it) (free program like photoshop)
