Problem with music not being recognised by music players

Hi,

For some reason my music files are no longer being picked up by the stock music app. I have added several music apps off the market and still no luck. The files are visible and play if i select thru file manager? Any ideas please

Try backing up sd card on pc, format card and put files back.

Hi, go to any explorer wich let you to find hidden files, and search for all ".nomedia" files. Delete all and maybe it works. This is happen to me every time I connect the sd to pc, it's a s***

I'm on b926 rom, it's definitely an issue with the sd card. I popped another card into my g300 with music on and there were no problems.

I only recently brought the card off play.com, a cheap (11.99) 32gb. Maybe it's not up to the job?

Does anyone know a music app that will manually select the file path as like i said i can see and play them thru file manager. Many thanks

Maybe is the card, I bougth a 16g 4 class Sandisk Card and since then it happen to me. But the ".nomedia" trick works, so I'll keep this card.

The only music app that works with this issue is PowerAMP.
