[HELP]How to change earphone speaker

The sound has always been bad in the earphone speaker of my eBay special and on inspection, it appears there is no membrane (is this possible). I have a replacement winging its way from China but I can't work out how to remove the original. I had a go on another, dead, Blade but although I got it off I think I may have been unnecessarily brutal. Can anyone point me at a walkthrough or describe the process in detail? Cheers
