Guest eltoro Posted April 9, 2003 Report Posted April 9, 2003 why do all my pictures come out really dark?? is there something wrong with my camera. they don't come out like others i've seen on the website. mine come out orangy and dark, any help here would be brillant
Guest spacemonkey Posted April 9, 2003 Report Posted April 9, 2003 The plastic stuck on the lense when you bought the phone has been removed? But seriously, in artificial lighting the pictures come out very orange and washed out, the camera only really performs nicely when you're out in real daylight (so not winter in England).
Guest fraser Posted April 9, 2003 Report Posted April 9, 2003 Your really need a flash for indoor photography. You are seeing what happens when you don't have one! Has anyone tried using a manual flash gun, timing it with the photo?
Guest James Posted April 9, 2003 Report Posted April 9, 2003 you might of set the exposure (brightness level) to manual (that might be just IA style though)
Guest James Posted April 9, 2003 Report Posted April 9, 2003 Has anyone tried using a manual flash gun, timing it with the photo? you are kidding!!!!
Guest fraser Posted April 9, 2003 Report Posted April 9, 2003 Why not? I've noticed that some cameras like this have a long exposure, as you can get more blurring in low light photos. Triggering a flash during this should work. Seriously.
Guest midnight Posted April 9, 2003 Report Posted April 9, 2003 the new p800 camera addon way is a high intensity beam (a torch basically)
Guest midnight Posted April 9, 2003 Report Posted April 9, 2003 piccies at the bottom of the page..... Howard Chui's Place
Guest James Posted April 10, 2003 Report Posted April 10, 2003 I need one of those high intensity beam things fraser,... if you were using a long exposure and used a flash you would get an overexposed photo. also if you take into account the time differences when actually pressing the 'take picture' button and the picture actually being taken you have got a nightmare on your hands!!!!
Guest madu Posted April 10, 2003 Report Posted April 10, 2003 Maybe that time gap is actually the 'long exposure' trick??
Guest casper508 Posted April 10, 2003 Report Posted April 10, 2003 Has anyone tried using a manual flash gun, timing it with the photo? Yeap, I have but didn't get the timing right . In the end lost motivation. Cas
