Guest anyusername Posted October 2, 2012 Report Posted October 2, 2012 I have installed a SatNav program which has offline maps, so I don't have to rely on a data connection. Unfortuantely, it used 430MB of the phones 2GB internal storage. Is there any way of moving this to the 16GB SD card?
Guest Titas Posted October 2, 2012 Report Posted October 2, 2012 (edited) Try Link2SD or Apps2SD Edited October 2, 2012 by Titas

I use MM Tracker on my G300 which uses off-line Ordnance Survey (OS) maps, which I also use with Memory-Map on my PC. So I connected my phone to PC, created a directory on the 16Gb SD card and copied the maps from PC to SD card.
Guest Hogweed Posted October 2, 2012 Report Posted October 2, 2012 (edited) Settings=>Applications=>Manage Applications Click on the app and then click "move to SD Card". You can also change the defaults. That's the easiest way but you can also use link2sd but that's a bit more involved but is ultimately a more complete method. Any app that uses so much space normally stores it on the SD card by default anyway but your app may be "dumb". Btw, have you checked your SD card for a folder with the name of the app and does it have anything in it? Edited October 2, 2012 by Hogweed
