xda has now a days become so @ss-ol licking site...bloody mods there have gone out of mind...just dnt undstnd sudnly after so many years now they r following their rules so strictly that they r loosing their followers drastically...im there since 3-4 years n nevr went thru such situations which we all faced yesterday

They never followed the rules strictly. Only for our Indian thread. There were other country threads for the Middle East & Philippines which they didn't bother to lock. Only when I sent all the Mods a PM pointing out why these threads were still open, they were locked.

MUMBAI Update : Just visited my usual phone retailer again. He said his price would be 40000 as for the first week Samsung distributors do not give them any discount. And yes, he said he would be getting white only. Also he suggested I wait till the 15th, is when the prices will drop.... :angry2:

The mightier they are; the harder they fall. I don't even think this has to do with anything India; it's lack of basic understanding of the community. However, it's their problem. The Internet is a huge place, you can go anywhere and discuss. For example, since I am here, I am sure I will contribute in other threads too, so it's good for this site.

That whole place is a mess, threads of Clove UK run, other strange arbitrary discussions are allowed, they are on a power trip. So let it be.

That's bull. I was offered 39 by Samsung cafe. You are desperate, they want to sell, so whatever they get. So, anyways, we are all waiting till 15th now?

No, that guy has been saying all along 8th. There was even another seller who said he had it in stock and then after he sold one, changed it to 8th; maybe he sold a demo piece or something. Right now, what I think best is not to order from ebay. Wait... let it come to the market. Techworld.in might be reliable because he obviously won't have that many demo handsets :)

Another defect from XDA... their high handedness is part sad, part disgusting, part pathetic. Some of the comments left by the Mod are in such bad taste too! Btw, I'm the one who started the Indian GS2 thread... sad to see that it was closed as well.

Anyways... Im just glad this thread was opened here. Anxiously waiting for the Note 2 to be available at my place, Indore. Love my HOX but this phone is a must have!! The reseller said he should have the in stock by tomorrow... fingers crossed!

True. The Main Mod was a bigger asshole than our Form mods. I sent him a long PM logically describing the events etc. Didn't bother to reply too.

Coming back to topic. I can't wait for so long !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :(

I am so happy by reading GSM arena's Review - http://www.gsmarena....-review-824.php

They have reviewed Note 2 three times and still hardly they are able to find any defects. All praises in all the 12 pages and still they dont know about Multi Screen feature which will be added by firmware update to all mobiles.

This has backed my decision to buy Note 2..cant wait to have it in my hands... :)

Not only galaxy s..xperia x10, sgs2, nexus, one x, gs3 all have Indian threads running from years and not months..& no mod ever bothers to touch it or enter it..and here..they are fuc*ing all up..<img src='http://www.modaco.com/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/mad.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':angry:' />

And I remember we reached 100-150 pages before the phone even launched in India..same for hox

No.

I prefer to run the original ROM. Had lots of problems running mods in the past. Now just stick to what Samsung gives me (plus a few different launchers etc)

Hyderabad update : Dealer will get stock by tomorrow night and he was not sure about the color. Price is 37.5k. He will charge 2% for credit card and no emi facility.
