Guest TestSpecimen. Posted October 3, 2012 Report Posted October 3, 2012 (edited) Just out of interest i was wondering what version of recovery people are using. I was thinking about changing to a more recent version, but im not sure whether there is any point. Are there reasons that make it worthwhile? In addition, I orginally planned to upgrade through rommanager from the market, but huawei U8815 is not available as one of the device options. is there another way to do it? Guest Rico_89 Posted October 4, 2012 Report Posted October 4, 2012 (edited) V 5.0.2.8 http://www.modaco.co...80#entry2021300 Everything is working: capacitive buttons work, no battery charge bug, so you can turn your phone off to charge it and it wont boot into CWM. Plus the blue writing looks better :D . Flash the Zip file in CWM to upgrade, if you're already on V4. I have used nandroid backups from V4 using CWM 5 an they work perfectly. Guest Cyda Posted October 4, 2012 Report Posted October 4, 2012 Tried a few different version and always ended up back on the tried and tested v4. I am planning on trying Kra1o5's latest v5 but haven't got around to doing so yet.

Guest fr0do Posted October 4, 2012 Report Posted October 4, 2012 I tested & all works in the Final Version of CWM 5.0.2.8 Now :D+1 This is great. Choose internal or external sd card = :D
Guest Cyda Posted October 4, 2012 Report Posted October 4, 2012 +1 This is great. Choose internal or external sd card = If you have the options for internal and external storage, I'd double check that the backup & restore works. It sounds like you are using the test version, which when I tested kept freezing during a backup. A new final version has been released since but the internal options were removed as far as I can see.
Guest TestSpecimen. Posted October 4, 2012 Report Posted October 4, 2012 (edited) Thanks for the replys! I will give 5.0.2.8 a go and see if its an improvement. I have a habbit of filling up my SD card with backups pretty quickly. Edited October 4, 2012 by TestSpecimen.
Guest Kra1o5 Posted October 4, 2012 Report Posted October 4, 2012 (edited) I remove the internal SD option because partition /datadata & /emmc is the same partition. Greetings Edited October 4, 2012 by Kra1o5
