Newbie at G300 U8818 with B897

I bought a chinese G300 wich is a U8818 with B897 and I am a bit lost about it.

I would like to change the ROM due to the lack of google apps as google play, and because I can not choose other language apart from Chinese and English. But if possible I want to keep the NFC function.

That is why I want to ask you for any stable ROM wich is compatible with U8818 and its NFC. I red that many ROMS are causing restarts or sd problems.

Any advice from U8818 users would be apreciated.

You could flash gapps from CWM to get google play. Then you can install "Set locale and language" from google play to choose your prefered language.

Since U8818 is a chinese phone, all roms for it don't have google apps.

I guess you need to be root to install CWM. You could check section 0 and 7 of this guide:

Finally I solved it. I installed CWM - wipe data/cache - flash gapps, and when it rebooted my language appeared and I had the market working fine.
