Phone replacement

Hi,

I bought a dell xcd 35 couple months back,and it turned out to be a 256 mb one..wmand gen 2 froyo.

I read in the forums here somewhere explaining how to unlock the remaining ram on a 2.2 gen 2 xcd35..

Now i found that someone on here (mahesh sharma ) tried to unlock the remaining ram by TPT but ended up bricking it ..concluding the phone being a chinese blade.(arent all dell european blades?)

My phone has the same baseband as his blade so should i conclude it being a chinese blade and will be no use trying to unlock the rest of the ram (being an inexperienced user) ?

Since the phonw is still in warranty ..can i get it replaced by

Visiting the service center and mentioning the probs like wifi keeps disconnecting and freezing ..looses network etc?

Or like someone mentioned in another forum that he got his fone replaced by deleting specific files to brick the phone..

Let me know your suggestions

Just say there's a problem with the phone at a service centre and they should replace it for you...
