[Q] Just installed ICS. 2 questions...

Firstly, I like the Google search box at the top of the screen but is there any way to restrict it to just one screen? It is permanently anchored to the top of every screen at the moment.

Secondly, is there any way to edit the dock with custom apps but retain the existing icons?

1) stock launcher has search bar on all screens, it cannot be changed, use apex: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.anddoes.launcher&feature=nav_result

2) Again use custom launcher, apex being best in my opinion.
