Guest todoleo Posted October 9, 2012 Report Posted October 9, 2012 Update: Samsung have confirmed the Galaxy Music does NOT feature a projector, it was an error on the press release. Samsung have just announced a budget friendly Android device, which features a projector. The Samsung Galaxy Music has a QVGA (240x320) 3" screen, 4GB storage and 512MB RAM. Samsung say that the Galaxy Music has a "powerful processor" but do not mention what type of chip it is or what speed it is running at. A dedicated music button and dual frontal speakers make this device geared towards the music lover budget market. The 4GB internal storage is expandable via MicroSD (up to 32GB), so you can load many tunes on the device. We're a bit thrown aback by the inclusion of a 9 lumen projector in the Samsung Galaxy Music. As with the Samsung Galaxy Beam, the projector can be used to project visual media onto surfaces. It will be interesting to see how it projects our Jennifer Paige music videos onto the bus ceiling during our winter morning commutes. ;) Pricing and availability have not been announced yet, so we'll update you as soon as Samsung let us know. Do you think you'll be getting a Galaxy Music? Let us know in the comments. Source: Samsung Click here to view the item
Guest fishsticks Posted October 9, 2012 Report Posted October 9, 2012 Great, now not only do we have to put up with listening to other people's music on buses, now we have to ignore their videos too!
Guest todoleo Posted October 10, 2012 Report Posted October 10, 2012 We've just heard from Samsung that the projector feature was a mistake on the press release. Thank goodness!
