Guest jsevi83 Posted October 9, 2012 Report Posted October 9, 2012 (edited) Yoigo, Spanish phone company, has released an update, B944. You can find it in the link below (the vendor is included in the rar): http://www.yoigo.com/aviso/HUAWEI-ASCEND-G300/U8815_V100R001C86B944.rar Edited October 13, 2012 by jsevi83

Guest b4da55 Posted October 9, 2012 Report Posted October 9, 2012 Anyone know if Spain already had ics? If so this is probably the fix
Guest Dellboy2012 Posted October 9, 2012 Report Posted October 9, 2012 Any feedback? Has anybody tried it yet?
Guest jsevi83 Posted October 9, 2012 Report Posted October 9, 2012 Anyone know if Spain already had ics? If so this is probably the fix In Spain there are two companys selling the Huawei G300, Vodafone and Yoigo. Vodafone is selling U8815N (with NFC) and I think already got ICS. Yoigo (the one I have) had GB B883 and this is the first update it ever got.
Guest MiguelPereira Posted October 9, 2012 Report Posted October 9, 2012 Spanish phone company, Yoigo, has released an update, B944. You can find it in here, it's in spanish but there are only two links, one pdf with the instrucctions and another with the rom. You need Microsoft Silverlight to download it though (quite stupid...). http://www.yoigo.com...actualiz ascend Does somebody know how to make a repack? HI "Jsevi83"! greetings from "next door" - Portugal. On this B944 can you check if the Camera can record video with 800*600 resolution or is still limited to 640*480? Gracias! ;)
Guest Cyda Posted October 9, 2012 Report Posted October 9, 2012 Does somebody know how to make a repack? I'll do one later unless someone else does one first.
Guest jsevi83 Posted October 9, 2012 Report Posted October 9, 2012 I'll do one later unless someone else does one first. I think nobody is doing it, the spanish gurus are sleeping siesta, I have no idea how to do it, and the spanish post where i found it is also sleeping siesta!! :P
Guest Hans Gruber Posted October 9, 2012 Report Posted October 9, 2012 OK I've flashed it including the vendor file and it does has power toggles. Once the vendor file is flashed however it only gives you the options of English and Spanish language. Just installing chrome to see if it has any acceleration...
Guest elperroderoke Posted October 9, 2012 Report Posted October 9, 2012 I have downloaded just with Chrome, nod needed anything more. Yoigo´s Roms used to be near the original Rom, and the only branded included used to be the bootsplash, the notification tone and maybe the 2G only option missed in menu (esay to get it back). Regards.
Guest mack_ Posted October 9, 2012 Report Posted October 9, 2012 I'll do one later unless someone else does one first. Daz is busy with CM10 and the last one I did kinda didn't work. This one is yours Cyda.

Guest Hans Gruber Posted October 9, 2012 Report Posted October 9, 2012 What about dictionary is that fixed Nope. Still red lines under everything.

Guest jsevi83 Posted October 9, 2012 Report Posted October 9, 2012 Nope. Still red lines under everything. Could you check if you have HSDPA:9 or HSPA:11? Settings > About phone > Status Thanks
Guest Hans Gruber Posted October 9, 2012 Report Posted October 9, 2012 Could you check if you have HSDPA:9 or HSPA:11? Settings > About phone > Status Thanks That was the first thing I looked at :P Sadly it's only HSDPA:9. No idea why none of the European roms seem to support HSPA
Guest mack_ Posted October 9, 2012 Report Posted October 9, 2012 ok, I was trying to do a repack following your advise here: So that won't work? Its work but you have to take the folders - system and boot img from a working system and replace them with the system folder and the boot img you extracted from the update.app using the perl script(should be around here somewhere, just usethe search box)
Guest jsevi83 Posted October 9, 2012 Report Posted October 9, 2012 You should practice siesta, that would save us from your knowledge for a while. ¿Te molesta algo, o no sabes hacer bromas en inglés?
