About a year ago i converted my Gen 1 SanFrancisco to Gen 2 in order to flash the latest roms of that time. Now i noticed that there's no such thing mentioned in most of the roms around so i was wondering whether it wil brick my phone or not...

Can someone please help me out here on which rom to choose and whether all the roms would work on my phone or not...

There all pretty much Gen 2 unless stated otherwise.

Flash a few and take you're pick. A good way to go is to see which are the most popular. As it stands to reason they must be quite good.

Take a look at the dev section, there are several to choose from and all of them will work on gen2 (or converted to gen2) phone.

Personally i recommend KonstaT's JB if you are looking for a smooth and surprisingly stable ROM.

KonstaT's CM10 is the way to go if you are looking for smoothness ;)

Or ParanoidAndroid. I have never met smooth rom like this one! Jelly Bean runs extremely fast on Blade.

I'd go for KonstaT's Jelly Bean because it is Jelly Bean :). I have used this ROM a lot recently because my ATRIX has died :'( and I've had to revert back to the Blade. CM10 also fits on nice small partition sizes whereas Paranoid needs much a much larger System partition (so your space for apps is smaller).

That said you'll have to make sure that your system partition is ~180Mb because otherwise you'll find that there is not enough space for the rom and Gapps. This will require you to TPT (the same process that you did to make you have GEN2) I think KonstaT has included a TPT on the CM10 thread.

The faster is the CM10 to Burstlam, but only in English and Chinese

Update your information man. I have 180 MB partition and only 149 used of it. There is 274 MB free space for apps and 107 MB dalvik + 49 MB AppData moved to ext, so I have 97MB used and 176 MB still free for apps. I have installed CM10 on my sister's Blade and PA is much smoother. Make your choice ;)

Basically the best advice is to try both and see which you prefer. The two ROM's are very similar performance wise but have quite different features.
