Guest Pinnacle Posted April 10, 2003 Report Posted April 10, 2003 Does the built-in Inbox have the abilitiy to retrieve email attachments of any kind? I'm new to the SPV, and I don't seem to be getting attachments. I own a Pocket PC Phone Edition that gets every attachment, so I'm surprised that MS didn't build that capability into Smartphone automatically. It seems that there will be attachment viewers out very soon, but how do we get the attachments directly on the SPV? :? Any 3rd party email apps that will do this?
Guest Emad Posted April 10, 2003 Report Posted April 10, 2003 ? I can get attachments fine, I just can't view all of them on the phone. Try sending yourself a mail with a jpg attached, you should be able to mark that for download and then view it.
Guest Monolithix [MVP] Posted April 10, 2003 Report Posted April 10, 2003 No "official way to do it. There is a workaround that allows you to pull the attachment files from the e-mails though. Go to IPSMMAPIAttachments And rename the file you want you get (you'll have to guess if theres more than one) with a real filename and extension.
Guest Pinnacle Posted April 10, 2003 Report Posted April 10, 2003 Thanks for the explanation, everyone. I suppose the Mark for Download link is used for something.
