Tethering in infrastructure mode

Is there any custom ROM that will make the Racer to broadcast a infrastructure signal during hotspot mode?

What ROM are you using on your Racer??

If it's Cyangenmod based then try - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.googlecode.android.wifi.tether (with Blade profile to enable WPA2 encryption).
