Did anyone get their phone unlocked officially from Orange?

I was wondering if anyone had their phone officially unlocked (sim) from Orange? If so, what questions did they ask you? What information did you have to give them? and how much did it cost?

Not sure about what questions they ask, but in regard to costs of unlocking, here is the official process to this VERY popular subject...

1) Do a search

2) If search fails, search again with different parameters

3) Goto 1

I'll be doing a full rundown of the Tanager soon, but it really is lovely. The mechanicals are identical to the SPV, with one very important difference...

PS Those people on the 'Smart' network in the Philippines are very lucky getting the Tanager! Not sure about the choice of name tho 'SAP - Smart Amazing Phone' :shock:

Not quite right, the £20.00 fee needs to be paid (by cheque or cc/dc) prior to the code being given out, also, any contract charges will need to be paid upfront. I.e any line rental upfront for the remainder of your contract,

Got a pay as you go orange sim so they could log the phone to an account, then had to put £20 credit on it for the payment, i was called after 3 days with the unlock code, was a lot quicker than i expected.

Paul: lucky sod, although that's not too surprising as MS are providing Tanagers to the software developers to allow them to test their products (the creators of Odysee were provided with one).

BTW: is that joystick any easier to use than the SPV's?

It makes Motocross far more playable, and Doom too!

I had my phone unlocked official by orange for about 130£ it's a coupple of months ago, so don't know the price know.
