Actually, rendering webpages is way faster, including facebook, like way way faster but the ui is way way slower

this will make things worse because of the missing HWA...

i used to include it in gingerbread roms and it worked well, but forcing GPU render on our stock ics rom's has worse results for obvious reasons

See above cyda. I removed it. Makes the phone slower but internet pages render faster.

I´ve just applied this "fix", and applications like FB, Instagram, TW, browser are noticable faster. UI performance seems to be OK (first time i noticed that the UI is slower, but this fix caused by the Gallery thumbs were refreshed on background (cca 1000 photos slowing down phone for about 10 minutes and causing lags)...
