3G/Data Mode don't want to start

Hello, Im having this problem since my first flash to CM7 2.3 (I think). The problem is that whenever I want to turn off wifi (or just start 3g) and enable 3g/data mode, the data mode won't start. Everytime I have to go to flight mode and back and turn data mode on again. Then it works. But this workaround is bothering me. I had this problem on every ROM I flash no matter if it is Android 2.3, 4.0 or 4.1.

Considering to go back to Gen1 and try with stock 2.1 ROM if the problem persist... If yes, then my Blade is broken :'(

This issue sounds familiar to me. I had the issue with [GEN2/European] AOSP GB 2.3.7 / t0mm13bROM. It looks like Android Issue #2207 - http://code.google.com/p/android/issues/detail?id=2207. There are few "fixes" you can try. Or you can try this app https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.lrm4android.tgcfFree&hl. Good luck.
