Hello guys,

I've managed to log #huawei-g300 channel on irc.freenode.net. Because of low capacity of this server, please, be patient - it's only low power VPS with no guarantees - if someone could mirror this site, I would be glad for it.

The URL is:

http://huawei-g300.no-ip.info/irc/huawei-g300/

Because logging started about five minutes ago, there's nothing yet. The logging bot is [superLogger], don't be mad at him. If logging does not work, do not hesitate to contact me.

Cheers

Tks for this. I see there are already some connections with Huawei. That's good. I have one question. Does this create logs automatically? or do you need to put the logs in the server?

I have nearly a weeks worth of logs if you want them?

Also got a dedicated 100mbit server if you want to utilise that somehow?

Well, if you do have a dedicated server, it would be good for better stability (the virtual server with my bot is "free hosted" and I can't use my dedicated server due to security restrictions - part work, part personal). The bot is a small python script with an init script. Do you want to host it?

I'd be happy to host it, I will need a bit of help setting it up as I really don't have a clue about linux + hosting etc

All i use it for atm is seeding footy matches @ a small private tracker and to download stuff from usenet etc and then sftp to my home.

I have webmin installed if that helps?

Could you get it to strip out the joins/parts? Makes it a little easier to follow :)

I think only ssh (and file transfer (sftp/scp/..) access - not neccessary) should be enough. I must go for now, so .. tomorrow I will give you a small tutorial, what to do

Hans: all logs are stored in following directory structure year/month/date. How would you like to strip out? Give me an idea and I would love to make it.

Scripting isn't really my forte :P I know mIRC used to let you remove them but it's a long time since I've used IRC and I'm not going to be any help on that, unfortunately.

So you want logs without messages as - user connected/disconnected, ... ?

My own logs - http://g300.valicek.name - but it depends on connection stability in our village. Files are hosted 100Mbit server, but logger works on small localhost machine at my home.... I can strip join/quit messages, if you wish. Valicek1

Hi, reading the IRC logs has given a really useful glimpse into the progress of the CM roms but the logging appears to have stopped. Has anyone else been logging or is there a way to re enable them? Thanks

It look like that PHP script which is generating HTML files exceed the time limit of 20 seconds. I'll make repair in near future. Logging works, but the generating of HTMLs not :/

Hi guys, school quartal troubles are away and I made a new version of logger. So I have new server too, now everything runs on unix. It's better than php-only bunch of scripts. Logs are uploaded twice a hour. In case of any problems, don't worry and contact me!

Ejnoy!
