hi

is it possible to stop phone communicating with gsm network

i just want my daughter to use the phone for games and not to have radiation (i think its edge connection)

just want to use phone as ipad

what would be the point in having the sim card in if its not going to be used / topped up ?

software solution would be to delete the apn-conf.xml

while playing it would be off, while she's at home

ah, then you would just put the phone in airplane mode (turns all the radios off)

you can toggle this by holding the power button
