Not a chance until we have thethe bootloader unlocked.we don't know when that will happen

You really want a full Windows desktop on a 4 inch screen? Seriously?

And no it won't happen even with the 'unlocked' bootloader. Ubuntu you could possibly do though.

well if xp wont run right in dosbox I seriously doubt win7 will, ask rickywyatt, he tried it on his one x too and it took a long time to even boot,

Problem with that is the CPU used in the phone doesn't support virtualisation so it'll be really slow even with a native x86 virtual machine app.

Ubuntu will be possible though. The Nexus 7 version replaces Android though so I'd like a dual boot.

Guys,

What about dual-booting with Windows 7.5/7.8 ? Of course, feasibility when the bootloader is unlocked finally.

Doubtful I'd have thought but since the bootloader IS still locked a moot point.

Are there any Intel inside Windows phones?

The HP ElitePad 900 which is a tablet running Windows 8 runs on the ATOM processors (the next version to Medfield)
