Speed dial on default dialler

Does anyone know if there's an update/alternative to the default phone apk that includes a speed dial?

I've been using, and liking, exdialer, but it doesn't manage missed calls etc properly, so stock is better in that respect, but stock doesn't have speed dial.

I use the stock dialer.. and then use one of my homescreens with speed dial shortcuts/favourites/contacts etc...

does dialer one dials the favored number (default number) of a contact or does it, like GO contacts/dialer, asks user to choose among all the numbers disregarding the one that has been set as default? Stock app dials the favored one without asking (if you dial from 'speedial' )
