Thought I might as well release a build.

Credit goes to tilal6991 for the work he has done for the skate - all I did was compile it.

Save time and space in backups:

Backup/restore --> choose backup format --> dup

To flash via Term Emulator:

su

erase_image recovery

flash_image recovery /path/to/cwm6027.img

To flash via Fastboot

fastboot erase recovery

fastboot flash recovery \path\to\cwm6027.img

fastboot reboot

so

Just tried a backup. Recovery stopped and blank screen, all hard buttons lit up. Had to pull battery as phone didn't respond

Just checked /dev/log and got no recovery. Got events, main, radio and system. Which one?

Meh, there should be recovery there, maybe the crash stops it saving.

Ok, can you tell me whether it hangs in the same place or not, and what it is backing up when it does.

Are you sure? Mine finished data, shows .android_secure and then quickly goes off.

Found the problem, fixing it will be a pain though.

Well it's only, backups that don't work, everything else is stable.

Yeah, just looked through the blade thread and there are people saying that it crashes when backing up android_secure, meaning, I can either leave it like this for the time being, or I can comment out the instruction that backs up .android_secure, but this means that you''ll lose some data from apps that were installed on the sd card, if you restore.

Ok, so skipping the backup of android_secure works, but now the same thing happens when generating the md5sums!
