Guest MoRFLeZ Posted April 10, 2003 Report Posted April 10, 2003 I've been told that if you have the latest DK update .. you will see character counts when you write an sms! Now I remember seeing that before my phone had a hard reset, but now it doesn't show! I'm pretty sure I have the latest update (ROM operator: 1.3.6.24). Is there some place where you turn the count on and off!? Also, when writing an sms you can choose Message Settings - and check a box that will send back a message for ya, when the recipient has received the SMS. Sorta like the Nokia rapport system. But when you check this feature, it un-checks, and so you have to check it again NEXT time you write a message. Anyway of keeping this checked!?
Guest madu Posted April 10, 2003 Report Posted April 10, 2003 There is a workaround for char counter - it appears to work when SMS started one way and not work if done in another way.. There's a post on that, but can't link.. NO, there's no way to permanently set Delivery Reports ON :lol:
Guest dynamicdave Posted April 10, 2003 Report Posted April 10, 2003 if you are writing an sms and you must put a name by to: ..... there you must write also a number like 1 or 3 than you will see in the left corner the counter..... but if you canne send it delete the number.... that's it...
