Guest CurtisAndroidSF2 Posted November 15, 2012 Report Posted November 15, 2012 (edited) Firstly, I'd like to say thank you to Dazzazo for his CM9 rom, KonstaT for his KonstaKang ROM for the ZTE Blade and finally XMasterNinni for his excellent Porting Tool. I apologise for the typo in the title- It's called 'Konstakang' Find more information about the ROM here (Screenshots on that thread) KonstaKang is based on ICS 4.0.4 and I ported it using XMasterNinni porting tool with Dazzazo' CM9 ROM as the base. This is a great looking ROM (De je vu). ICS with extra sprinkles, customization galore. Not sure what's working and what's not so please let me know if you find any problems and I shall try to work out the problem. Flash this using the normal procedure; DO A BACKUP FIRST. Disclaimer: I am not responsible for any bricked devices, flying cats attacking your shiny phone or any zombie apocalypses that may somehow occur.Shove it on your SD card.Boot into Clockworkmod RecoveryWipe data/cache then /advanced/dalvik cacheInstall zip from SD CardFind the ROMInstall zip from SD card againFind Gapps zipReboot- First boot can take a few minutes, be patient. You can find the Gapps on Dazzazos ICS thread along with the A2SD scripts and the improved ICS boot animation Download Here Not sure if it'll work on the Vivacity but if you want to give it a bash then just flash the Vivacity kernel after you've flashed the ROM and let me know what happens. ---EDIT--- It now gets stuck on the boot logo. Better than not showing any signs of booting I guess. Edited November 17, 2012 by CurtisAndroidSF2
Guest gbosh Posted November 15, 2012 Report Posted November 15, 2012 (edited) LOL it's called KonstaKang, and it's easy to build from source I think, i might do that soon. Another thing, I ported this once, too and the touchscreen didn't work so probably here we'll have the same. Still nice to see variety Edited November 15, 2012 by gbosh

And I'm not experienced enough to even consider building from source, it'd be great if you gave it a shot.
Guest gbosh Posted November 15, 2012 Report Posted November 15, 2012 i will when I get more time, now I am trying to port Codename android
Guest CurtisAndroidSF2 Posted November 15, 2012 Report Posted November 15, 2012 Codename Android looks great, I just gave it a Google and it'd be awesome to have a port of it running on our Crescents!
Guest reedo_17 Posted November 15, 2012 Report Posted November 15, 2012 Btw any chance of doing something with konstaT's Cm10 sources?
Guest XMasterNinni Posted November 16, 2012 Report Posted November 16, 2012 AOKP is much better than CNA. CNA is just a little clone. And you can't compile it as its based on AOSP (only armv7)
Guest gbosh Posted November 16, 2012 Report Posted November 16, 2012 i know but I found a port for a armv6 device, the Optimus V. But I think your right, it ain't that good or special
Guest CurtisAndroidSF2 Posted November 16, 2012 Report Posted November 16, 2012 Made some changes to the updater-script file. The rom is currently syncing to my Google Drive. Can someone check if it boots whilst I'm out? Thanks- If the download link is broke then try this; https://drive.google.com/#folders/0B5IQUxhoTn2XMVZLem83TXRYS2M
