Guest theplayer Posted April 11, 2003 Report Posted April 11, 2003 Hello to everyone. I have downloaded the PHM RegEdit.exe and installed it in ISPM/Windows/Start Menu. However when I run it from my SPV I get the following error "regedit" is not a valis Windows CE application." I have de-certed my phone, running such programs as TaskMgr, SPVMan etc. Also insalled the Orange update. Any got any suggestion? Cheers Matt
Guest spacemonkey Posted April 11, 2003 Report Posted April 11, 2003 You sure you got a Smartphone version and not a pocket pc version? Also, it may be corrupted, try copying it again.
Guest TSCRYPTO Posted April 11, 2003 Report Posted April 11, 2003 I got the same message once or twice when trying to install .cabs on my (de-certed) phone, even though other unsigned apps were running fine. It looked as if I had a recalcitrant string value in my regsistry which would not clear. The only way to sort it was to do a hard re-set (which worked).
Guest midnight Posted April 11, 2003 Report Posted April 11, 2003 nah, its the installer, its a known bug, just install from the cab file and you wont get that message
