Guest smnhicks Posted April 11, 2003 Report Posted April 11, 2003 Hi, I excitedly downloaded SPVman for my new SPV, unzipped it, copied the file to the memory card, copied a link to my games directory but when I select it, the screen looks like it's trying to load but then returns to the games menu. Has anyone else had this happen to them and if so do you know how to fix it? Thanks, Simon
Guest Richie M Posted April 11, 2003 Report Posted April 11, 2003 Yep, i get that -seems to be a memory thing ;) Run TaskManage first, kill all processes and try SPVMan again
Guest smnhicks Posted April 11, 2003 Report Posted April 11, 2003 Thanks for that, I'll give it a go tonight. Simon
Guest aiwapro Posted April 11, 2003 Report Posted April 11, 2003 I get that sometimes. Has anyone has the problem of the game not playing sound? It use to play sound but it doesn't anymore. The only sound I here is when I press a button.

Has anyone else had this happen to them and if so do you know how to fix it? Thanks, Simon I'm having this problem as well. I have used TaskManager to try and close down unecessary programs but it still doesnt work. Turning the phone off then on doesnt seem to work either.
Guest Pinnacle Posted April 12, 2003 Report Posted April 12, 2003 I got my SPV after this game was finished, and I excitedly downloaded it right away, as well. I get the memory thing that you all mention. My game comes up if I close all apps before playing it. My main gripe is the speed. I have Pacman and Ms. Pacman on my Pocket PC Phone Edition device, and they are both SO fast...just like the original. Am I missing a speed control setting somewhere? It just seems dog slow.
Guest midnight Posted April 12, 2003 Report Posted April 12, 2003 never had to reboot my phone or use task manager either come to think of it (then again, i am very good to my phone, install nothing onto it, always use the sd card, and only ever have 1 homescreen on the phone at any one time)
Guest Chic0 Posted April 14, 2003 Report Posted April 14, 2003 Followed Midnight's lead and got rid of all the themes on the phone except for one. That freed up some memory and now I am able to run SPVMan once again. Have 2.75mb free in ISPM now. Would have more but that Music Lounge software takes up over 1mb!
