I think it slows me down, not having my punctuation available on my letters, always having to tap the numbers and symbol key, and Swype seems to provide me with better predictive options, I like having the loop gesture for double letters, Google's kb reduces your options with the lack of the loop gesture, it's good but not quite there yet compared to Swype... Open the app. Select a contact press the menu button to get a list of options. Press edit. Scroll down to events. Either "add new" or click on the date of an existing one. force close.
