[Q] Lockscreen - Remove clock and date

Hello,

I have a question, I use the lockscreen, the one who's part of my ROM [iCS] [CM9] KonstaKANG (Android 4.0.4)

in setting is not an option to disable displaying time and date ..

is there any way to remove the clock and date?

Why would you want to do that?

Edit: I have been having a look on Google and various other forums and many people have asked this question and the easy option is to use Widget Locker (Search google play) and select a theme that does not have a date and time on it.

The other way would be to edit the xml file for the lockscreen (wherever that would be).

WidgetLocker I've used, but sometimes they also showed default lockscreen ..

and you'll need to know how to decompile/recompile the framework-res.apk http://androidforums...ks-apktool.html

Don't forget to back this file up because when you flash an update to KonstaKANG any changes you have made will be overwritten.

Actually, do a NANDROID backup with Recovery first! Here there be Dragons.
