i just accidentally discovered how to add words, most probably most of u already know how but for d benefit of those who are new users and not so good with programming like myself. we all know that d t9 does not have all d words dat we use, and unlike nokia, der is no insert word option.. so here's how u insert words into d t9 and have it added to d database. first, make a new message, den turn on d t9 and type in a word dat u are sure is in d database like the word "yes" and then turn off d t9 then type ur new word, for example "modaco" then turn d dictionary on again. d new word should now be in d database already and can be inputed with d use of t9

sorry for those letters, i was typing that post from my phone because i was out when i discovered that t9 thing. anyways for claritys sake... d = the, den = then, dat = that, u = you. its more of a shortcut way of writing words in an SMS. here in my country, people have a habit of sending SMS, i guess thats why they call it the SMS capital of the world.... a survey was once released and it said that on the average, filipinos send at least 100 SMS a day. i for one send around 50 a day and thats cutting it already! so we came up with shortcuts to words to enable cramming them up into one message instead of sending two to save money  since SMS arent free in our country, seeing the money it rakes in. my apologies again, but it really is difficult not to type that way when using your mobile phone since ive been used to typing in that way.

the thing i like with the t9 is the 'add text' thing, once set up it makes adding smilies and stuff simple.

(and just for the uninititiated.... go to the inbox, select menu>options>Predefined text)

yup! thats true!

btw is the predefined texts limited to 9 only or can u add more?
