can't access Google sometimes

Hi I occasionally seem to have a weird problem with my g300. Sometimes I can get on any website in the world apart from Google and other search engines. I don't understand how the phone can be so selective? I think its associated with when its doing it failure to wake up properly, which happens quite regularly. Any ideas?

I'm ashamed to say I'm on bog standard out of the box gb. Haven't even rooted it. Thanks

Is it becouse your not logged into your google account ? (signal bars in notification area are grey rather than blue - i'm colourblind so cant guarantee those are the actual colours :) )

I don't think so. Just went to Google now and I wasn't logged in and it worked.

It just did it again. Must be something about this time of night. I was on Google and when I tried to search for something it came up with a message saying unusual activity and asked me to type the words in a box like those security things. Then I could access other sites but couldn't log into modaco or access Google on 3g or wifi.

Really strange. I then couldn't get the wifi to work and had to forget and retype the password to get it working.

I'm getting a bit fed up with this.

Google can stop working if the signal bars are not green/blue (depends what Android version you have)
