A small problem.

Hello all at Modaco Forums.

I am fixing an acer Liquid s100 for a friend who bought it as is.

it came with Malez recovery and some italy rom but the rom was not functioning properly.

The problem is:

Everytime i try to flash something that i have put on the sd card it gives me

-

E:No Signature (14 files)

E:Verification failed

Installation Aborted

-

I managed to flash Alpha? Rom by selecting

-

flash zip from sd (no sign check)

-

but after reboot the phone just gets stuck at boot screen.

any sort of help is greatly appreciated.

Try to install this ROM, it's based on CM7.1

If you want CM7.2 or CM9 you should install ClockWorkMod recovery

thanks. this can be flashed with malez?

also. what does it mean to flash bin files? i havnt had the need to do this with my other phones but maybe its important for this one?

EDIT: SANY LINUX the rom you posted got my phone up and running but it wont connect to wifi. !

Conect your device to the pc while being in recovery and reinstall the official bin 2.2 with acer download tools. Then put the Malez Recovery and flash the Rom that you want.

I hope it will help.
