Huawei G300 HD camera

Im just wondering why cant the G300 shoot 720p video, like what are the requirements to shoot it or what is the closest the g300 can shoot? I searched it as well on modaco and i think tillaz said the huawei camera should support it but would need some stuff.

edit: i saw this as well (Skip to camera) http://www.huaweidev...scend-g300.html is this becasue the hardware is different or the software? also on the indian website it shows hd camera

There were a few 'errors' in advertising on the g300

the camera its self could support 1080p > 5mp =2592 x 1944 pixels, this is higher than 1920 x 1080 =1080p

its the rest of the hardware that would struggle to decode 1080p video

but as far as i know, it needs new codec libs compiled to support 720p, at least that's how some guy got it done on the nexus s witch is very similar

The camera supports it but the all the rest of the phones hardware doesn't
