Guest AlanPartridge Posted December 16, 2012 Report Posted December 16, 2012 Hi guys, As the title, my OSD stopped receiving/ sending calls and texts on Friday. I called Orange and they suggested a new sim, which I got and inserted - transferred my account details over to the new sim but the same problem. Phone is fine in every other regard and shows a signal on the Orange/ T-Mobile Network. It's not rooted and running ICS 4.0.4. Any help would be gratefully received! Thank you, Trev
Guest i am not a hacker Posted December 16, 2012 Report Posted December 16, 2012 Is this to all numbers or only some?
Guest AlanPartridge Posted December 16, 2012 Report Posted December 16, 2012 Hi, yes it is all numbers. Same with trying to send texts. They just hang. The strange thing is mobile data over the network seems to be ok? Trev
Guest i am not a hacker Posted December 16, 2012 Report Posted December 16, 2012 Sometimes you have to have the network settings set up on the phone and internet settings are separate I'm not sure. Go onto the dialer and dial #. What's the outcome?
Guest AlanPartridge Posted December 16, 2012 Report Posted December 16, 2012 It says "Connection problem or invalid MMI code." Cheers.
Guest BlueMoonRising Posted December 16, 2012 Report Posted December 16, 2012 It says "Connection problem or invalid MMI code." Cheers. Just tried the # trick and got the same message and I have no problem. I presume you've tried rebooting?
Guest AlanPartridge Posted December 16, 2012 Report Posted December 16, 2012 Yes, many, many times! I'm thinking it's a hardware problem, but it just seems strange that it's calls and texts only. I'll pop it into the Orange Shop tomorrow. Ta, Trev
Guest i am not a hacker Posted December 16, 2012 Report Posted December 16, 2012 Can I ask why you are saying 'Trev' at the end of your posts if your name is Alan Partridge?
Guest AlanPartridge Posted December 16, 2012 Report Posted December 16, 2012 Lol! Trev was taken, so I just used my favourite comedy character. Trev/ Alan ;)
