Guest teresato Posted January 3, 2013 Report Posted January 3, 2013 Hi! I last week I bought a Huawei g300 and made an update from GB to ICS...the question is, I read a lots of forums and website talking about DTS sound, how turn on/off it, how sucks this DTS,etc,but... I NEVER FIND this option on sound screen or another place. This option (turn on/off DTS) was deleted on ICS? thanks a lot. PS: I have Vodafone ICS
Guest DJPRMF Posted January 3, 2013 Report Posted January 3, 2013 hi, The DTS is a little app to "improve" the sound in some devices. this app is installed in some custom ROMS, so you probably don't have access to it in the stock rom of Vodafone. ;)
Guest teresato Posted January 3, 2013 Report Posted January 3, 2013 Ah, but, it's strange, because if you read the manual there is a guide to "turn off/on" the super-awesome-incredible (???) DTS sound
Guest sssingletrack Posted January 3, 2013 Report Posted January 3, 2013 (edited) I do believe its implemented in stock ICS. There is a selection for it in sound. If I remember correctly. It is enabled by default. Edit : sorry misread your post, I think I saw it on the global release, never checked voda. Its enabled by default anyway looking at cydas repack Edited January 3, 2013 by sssingletrack

I want to add a DTS firmware CyanogenMod 9.1. It is not enabled by default DTS. The sound of the conversation just awful.
