Guest admanirv Posted January 5, 2013 Report Posted January 5, 2013 (edited) Hi, Unfortunately i think i may have a signal problem with my galaxy S3 so i cant afford to get a new one which leads me to this phone. How is the sharpness and resolution of the screen, is it say much worse than my S3 or not far behind? And will a virgin monthly sim car work in the phone as i see there are no unlocking tools available nor a boot unlocker :( Probably a deal breaker for me which seems a great phone for the price. Good to see flibblesan nad ricky watt about too. It also seems there's not much modding of the overall system to make it better? Edited January 5, 2013 by admanirv
Guest BlueMoonRising Posted January 5, 2013 Report Posted January 5, 2013 It's a 1024x600 4" screen so very sharp, not got a S3 to compare to. Virgin micro-sims work perfectly. It runs ICS with JB (maybe) to come shortly. With root we can delete the bloatware and install pretty much anything we want so I'm not even sure what an unlocked bootloader would give us.
Guest i am not a hacker Posted January 5, 2013 Report Posted January 5, 2013 Unlocked bootloader would give us custom ROMs and allow us to flash anything through recovery
Guest admanirv Posted January 5, 2013 Report Posted January 5, 2013 (edited) Thank you. Ah thats good I'm moving from 3 to virgin mobile and without being able to unlock i was concerned it wouldn't work. Looks like we'll never get an unlocked bootloader :( Is it the same cpu thats in a netbook? Edited January 5, 2013 by admanirv
Guest i am not a hacker Posted January 5, 2013 Report Posted January 5, 2013 No it's not the exact same but roughly the same type - an Intel Atom. At least you can say, this is the world's first intel powered phone.
